The festival ends with our final Gala performance. Bistro seating and a casual atmosphere make the Gala everyone’s favourite concert.
Pre-Concert Talks (Aug 22nd & 23rd)
Held at 6:45 pm before Main Series Concerts 2 and 3, these engaging talks given by our guest artists familiarize the audience with both the composers and the Festival repertoire.

Our Historic Church Series concert allows Fredericton music fans to enjoy the sounds of small music ensembles in the intimate venue of the Christ Church in Maugerville.

A full professional chamber ensemble will play classical favourites in a lovely evening concert in the historic location Christ Church Cathedral, downtown Fredericton.

This popular concert is usually standing room only as the Summer Music Festival musicians present a program of Festival highlights - a refreshing noon hour break.

FUZE is a weekend of events featuring contemporary and experimental classical music in unconventional venues. This year we’ve partnered with Gallery Connexion in inviting the local music community to create a number of entirely improvised sets over two days. All ages and skill levels are welcome to join the 3 hour improv session on Saturday afternoon.
